Overview

I designed this infographic for the University of California San Diego (UCSD) to visualize a complex biological process. The illustration has been used in clinical and academic environments to share meaning with other people, thus enabling collective and collaborative thought. The design was not just about making a complex process simple. A level of complexity was introduced that allows just the right amount of contrast to drive profile, focus and definition.
